MP, La Dadekotopon launches website

The Member of Parliament (MP) for La Dadekotopon, Nii Amasah Namoale, has launched a website to market the potential of the constituency.
The website, www.la-dadekotopon, is meant to throw light on the clan, legendary personalities, cultural, educational, entertainment, hotel and tourism and the economic prospects of the constituency.
According to the MP, the site was not for political gains hence it had no political connotation and could be used for the development of the area.
The website also offers opportunity for the electorate to mail their concerns, suggestions and other enquiries to their legislative representative in the constituency.
It also offers business concerns all over the world the opportunity to advertise their products and services on the website.
Nii Namoale said the development of the website was to assist the youth in the area to explore their skills.
He said the idea of developing the website was initiated by some of the youth who had gone through an ICT course and realising their potential, he also solicited the assistance of companies within the constituency in developing it.
The CEO of Vallex Ventures, Mr Vincent Odotei, commended the MP for the move and added that with globalisation, people without any knowledge of information technology were lagging behind.
He described the Internet as a modern tool which had transformed the world.
He said the launch of the website for the constituency had placed it on the modern global arena and was indicative of the MP’s vision.
Mr Odotei urged the webmasters to constantly upgrade the website to ensure that it had the latest information that would make it attractive and profitable.
